If you’ve listened to me on the radio over these many years, you know that I have affection for good wine.
In fact, it has been my dream to one day own my own winery. My dream has come true.
I’m happy and proud to announce that I’ve become part-owner at Natali Vineyards, a charming boutique winery near Cape May, NJ, about an hour or so drive from Philadelphia!
It’s the perfect gathering spot for folks who just want to enjoy a day in the vineyards, drinking some great wines, great as a stop for a glass of red or white on your way to the shore, and a wonderful weekend or weekday day trip. Sit among our vines, or in our cozy wine tasting room, sip, breathe and enjoy the terroir that surrounds you. And it’s the perfect spot for a wedding or any kind of celebratory party!
And we are making some damn fine wines, thanks to our award-winning vintner Tim Jobe. This area of New Jersey has been designated as an American Viticultural Area (AVA), which means our winery has the perfect soil and conditions (terroir) to be a federally designated wine-grape growing region!

Right now, we are featuring the following vintages:
DRY REDS
Nonno’s Cellar (2021). A blend of three wonderful grapes makes this a perfectly versatile red, great with steaks, chops, pasta and pizza, or just as a leisurely drinking wine. Nonno’s Cellar won a Silver Medal in the Garden State Wine Association contest. It has a floral nose, and a cherry, earthy finish. It’s a full-bodied wine with a spicy finish. We think of it as a Party in a Bottle. $25.
Tempranillo (2019). This win won a bronze medal at the GSWA! Our Tempranillo grapes have been winners for years. This is a three-year aged Reserve, smoky, dark berry on the nose with plum on the palate and a spicy finish with noticeable tannins. $26.
Cabernet Sauvignon (2020). This hearty red has been aged 24-months in oak. It has a dark cherry nose and medium tannins with black currant on the finish. Excellent with steak or prime rib. $24
Merlot (2020). A fun drinking wine! Our Merlot has a raspberry jammy feel. The acids are crisp, yet the tannins are soft. $22.
Cabernet Franc (2020). This blend sold out quickly and we are in the process of producing more. Our Franc has a smoky nose with red currant flavors and a medium bodied black peppery finish. Try it with a rack of ribs or a center cut pork chop! $24.
DRY WHITES
Pinot Grigio (2021). This American Pinot has a refreshing tropical fruit nose with bright flavor. It’s delicious with chicken! $23.
Goshen (2021). Named after the New Jersey town where the winery is located, our Goshen is a blend of Albarino and Viognier, two grapes that grow very well in this New Jersey area. It has light, floral notes with a bold apricot finish. $22.
Chardonnay (2021). This American Chardonnay has been a consistent seller at the vineyard. It has a mellow flavor with a hint of oak, not overpowering like many Chardonnays. But it’s bold and will stand up well with any fish or fowl. $19.
Sauvignon Blanc (2021). A wonderful white! Warm and inviting with a bold opening and a finish or honeydew melon. This win pairs very well with shellfish and outside, leisurely sipping on the beach! $20
Trebbiano (2020). A crisp, Granny Smith apple in a glass! Wonderfully refreshing. $20.
Rose (2021). Not technically a white, but a totally satisfying rose, a fine blend of Trebbiano and Barbera, with light tannins and off dry with strawberry on the nose. Only 5% residual sugars. $20
SEMI-SWEET WHITES
Very Tropical fruit on the nose and a Papaya?Quenepa finish with 3% residual sugar. $23
Erotic Aronia (2021). A blend of Aronia and Trebbiano. Super high in antioxidants. Fresh nose with a hint of dried flowers, in the mouth it is savory with a palate cleaning finish. Take an adventure and sample our best-selling wine! Currently sold out, but keep it in mind for our next vintage.
Rose (2021). (American). Delightful strawberries and cream on the nose with a watermelon finish with 3% residual sugar. $18.
SEMI-SWEET REDS
Captain Vinho. A Port wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes. Aged 2 years in stainless and 2 months in a whiskey barrel! Try it with chocolate. $30.
SPECIALTY WINES
100% Aronia. Very concentrated and earthy and high in antioxidants. Currently sold out but watch for our next vintage.
Mead. Made from 100% New Jersey honey! Spicy hints of clove on the nose. Our Mead was a DOUBLE Gold Medal Winner at the GSWA. $28.
